Jashira Pagan Shot Dead in Norwich after an Altercation
According to the Norwich Police, Jashira Pagan, 30, was shot in the head outside Uncas Condominiums on Saturday, November 5, 2022. The police received a 911 call about an argument followed by a single gunshot and a woman down on the ground at 5:29 AM.
Upon reaching there, they found Pagan face down on the ground at the condominium complex at 527 West Thames Street. She was rushed to the Wiliam W. Backus Hospital and got admitted in very critical condition.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t survive and the doctors pronounced Jashira Pagan dead at 7:06 AM on Monday. The bullet wound sustained in the head became her cause of death.

The person who shot and killed Jashira Pagan is unidentified at the time of writing. No arrests have been made yet. The police are investigating the case and treating it as a homicide. They believe that the shooting was not a random act but a targeted attack against Pagan.
