Who Is Blackwell Funeral Home In Blackwell Funeral Home Obituaries?

Here is what they are saying in their story:

When Faiger Blackwell launched Blackwell Funeral Home in August 1998, his ambition of starting a family funeral home came true. Five acres of land near the intersection of Rauhut Street and Sharpe Road on Burlington’s north side were bought in May 1997, one year earlier. Our father, Roy Blackwell, who spent the majority of his life working at a nearby company in Caswell County, was honored by the opening of the funeral home. He frequently drove relatives to funerals in our family automobile. Sadly, before construction could begin, our father passed away in September 1996. Though he was never able to witness it, the lessons he taught us are still relevant today.

We went to funeral service school with Carl Blackwell Jr., who was the original licensed funeral director. Later, I immediately picked up on the routine and imparted those attributes to my daughter Alexandria Blackwell, who had just started her apprenticeship program, and my son Faiger “Grea” Blackwell II, who is also a licensed funeral director. Locations in Yanceyville and Dunn, NC, also existed over time. However, after much prayer and further expansion in Burlington, all focus was turned back to the original site. We are thrilled to carry on the legacy of offering skilled, reasonable, and respectful service.
