How Did Chrissy Rouse Die?

After being under treatment since Sunday, October 2, the day when the accident occurred, the 26-year-old rider, Chrissy Rouse, died on Thursday, October 6, in the hospital. The reason for his death was the injuries he suffered following the crash.

The statement said, “It is with great regret that we have to announce that Chrissy Rouse, aged 26, from Newcastle upon Tyne, has succumbed to his injuries, and has passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family members in hospital earlier this afternoon.”

Chrissy Rouse’s career background

Chrissy Rouse started riding motorbikes on a Malaguti 50 at the mere age of seven. He then moved on to motocross, where he transformed into an experienced rider and enjoyed a good amount of success.

In 2008, Rouse made the jump from road racing to circuit racing and started competing in the Fab Racing Series. The superbike rider moved up to the Aprilia Superteens Championship the following year. 

Rouse moved into the British Superbikes this season and competed for the Crowe Performance BMW squad, the same team with which he won the national superstock title in 2020.
