Gawd Triller, the massively popular YouTuber known for his extra-terrestrial NBA 2K skills, passed away after suffering fatal injuries in a car crash on Saturday. He was only 24 years old. His girlfriend also died alongside him. Read on to know what happened.
Triller’s family confirmed the tragic news of his death. The NBA 2K community is mourning the loss of the prominent YouTuber. Her heartbroken sister (@brisimonee) shared a video of the car crash that occurred on Interstate 94 on Instagram.
“Can’t believe you gone bro. I’m literally hurting so bad, I feel so empty without you here,” she wrote in the caption.
“I miss you so much bro, my f***ing twin my best friend. I’m writing this crying my eyes out. REST IN PEACE BABY.”
Gawd Triller was involved in a Car Crash on Saturday, August 27
YouTuber Gawd Triller and his girlfriend were out in their Ford Fusion early in the morning on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Their vehicle was rear-ended by another driver on Kia near Mt. Elliot, Detroit, Michigan. They lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the center median barrier of I-94.
The wounder passengers exited the car but a man driving a Jeep Liberty fatally struck Triller and his girlfriend. Both were pronounced dead on the spot. No one else was critically injured in the six cars crash that took place around 2:25 AM on Saturday.
The driver of the Kia was sent to the hospital while the man driving Jeep Liberty was arrested. He was reportedly showing signs of being impaired by drugs or alcohol. The police received a sample of his blood to determine if he was under an influence at the time of the crash.
Who was Gawd Triller?
Gawd Triller was born on February 17, 1998, in Detroit, Michigan. The man who went to be known as a pro-NBA 2K YouTuber and content creator was interested in gaming from a very young age.
As a child, he uploaded gameplays of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Halo: Reach on YouTube. He started taking content creation seriously when he was just 17. He started uploading NBA 2K gameplay and uploaded regularly, stunning the viewers with his ecstatic skills on the simulation.
His YouTube channel, which has 512K subscribers now, took off in 2017 and 2018. Gawd Triller is the brother of YouTuber SoLLUMINATI, who has more than 2 million subscribers on his main channel.
Gawd was known to impress the audience with his pro-gaming skills and make fun of the opponents. His streams and videos were always entertaining and laugh-worthy. He also has a secondary YouTube channel named “LifeOfTrill” which has around 1,000 subscribers.
Unfortunately, the YouTuber passed away before uploading any video on the channel he created to reveal his personal life.

The identity of Gawd Triller’s girlfriend is unknown at the time of writing. The woman who was killed with Gawd in the car crash on Saturday was confirmed to be his girlfriend. She was allegedly 22 years old.
