Cynthia Lai Die at the Age of 68, His Cause of Death Explained

Cynthia Lai, a long-time realtor, and councilor for the city of Toronto passed away on Friday at 68 years old. Lai was up for reelection in the municipal election on Monday, but her campaign manager, Hratch Aynedjian, announced her passing on Friday afternoon.

According to Aynedjian, Lai passed away in a hospital while being attended by family. Lai first won the Ward 23 Scarborough North councilor seat in 2010 and was reelected in 2014. Aynedjian described her as a champion for her constituency which provided services to people in the neighborhood in line with the demographics of the ward.
