This domestic violence ultimately led to Ashley’s death on Thanksgiving Day in 2006, when she was overcome to the point of no return and was pronounced dead. The homicide of Ashley Scott is one of the most tragic and heartbreaking examples of domestic violence that our society has ever seen.
Bossier City, in the state of Louisiana, was Ashley’s home throughout her childhood, where she was raised alongside her family and other close friends. At the time, she was employed at Bolton High School as a teacher.

On November 23, 2006, at approximately 3:46 p.m., Jeffrey is said to have called 911 to report that his partner was bleeding and wounded and required immediate medical attention.
Reports indicate that his friend Dr. Robert McGee was already on the scene, providing Ashley with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Despite being brought to the hospital, she did not make it through the ordeal alive.
It was determined that blunt force trauma was the cause of her death. This trauma resulted in a fracture of the skull as well as damage to her brain. In addition to this, it was said that she had a shoe print on her body in addition to a number of other injuries on her body.
Authorities questioned Jeffrey right away, and he revealed that they had fought the night before about a text message from another man, which had escalated to violence.
He admitted that, according to the tale, he only struck her as quickly as he could. Despite this, her autopsy report and thorough medical evaluation corroborated a particular story.
According to employees from the health department, her body displayed numerous injuries from previous maltreatment, which indicates that she had a history of being abused.
