It is with sorrow that I share this news. One of our tenth grade students, Stephen Konz, passed away early this morning. Yesterday evening he was out running in the community when he was struck by a car. We are all deeply saddened by his death and send our condolences to his family and friends.
Our students were notified of Stephen’s passing at the beginning of the school day and the high school offered a moment of silence in his memory. Counselors and staff members will be located throughout the building today for students who wish to speak with someone.
