Coquitlam Police are appealing for witnesses and video evidence after a shooting incident in Coquitlam on the night of Thursday, July 12.
Cpl. Alexa Hodgins said in a news release that police received reports of “a shooting between two vehicles” at around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Hart Street and Henderson Avenue. Investigators later located shell casings in the 600 block of Roderick Avenue, about a block from where the shooting is believed to have taken place.
Hodgins said that witnesses described the vehicles involved in the incident as a dark-colored sedan with damage to the side-view mirror and a white SUV. She added that anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or saw either of those vehicles is asked to contact the police.
