In her work at the Lincoln Hills School in Irma, Wisconsin as a social worker and adolescent counselor for the state of Wisconsin, Renee had an undeniable impact on many lives. Who was Renee Faulk?

Renee Faulk earned her bachelor’s degree from Northland College in Ashland, WI and went on to receive her master’s degree from UW-La Crosse. She began her career as a social worker and adolescent counselor at the Lincoln Hills School in Irma, Wisconsin in 1996. Later she worked as a parole and probation officer in Marathon County and Oneida County before relocating to Darlington, SC around 2017. Her passion for helping others was evidenced by her long career of service to those who needed it most.

Renee’s Family Life

in addition to dedicating herself to helping others through social work, Renee also was an amazing wife, mother, daughter and sister. On August 22nd 1998 she married Shane Faulk at Sacred Heart Church in Nekoosa during an impressive thunderstorm (which some believe brought good luck). Together they had three children Samantha (19), Katrina (17), Kaiden (14) whom they raised together until their move South Carolina when Renee took up residence with them there just two years ago. Her parents Lawrence and Kathleen still reside in Tomahawk where they were born and raised like their daughter before them.

What started as just another day for Renee Faulk, a Tomahawk, Wisconsin native and a resident of Darlington, SC, ended in tragedy on Monday. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Reports indicate that Renee and her beloved family dog, Brinley, were killed in a car accident. Although the cause of the accident has not been revealed yet, it is certain that their passing left family and friends heartbroken. It is undeniable that the world became a more sorrowful place due to this unfortunate event.
