Olivia Ortz: Pennsylvania Chorus Teacher Arrested for Sexual Contact with Student- The choir instructor in Pennsylvania was arrested on Monday after a student came forward with claims that she had sex with him.
Ex-Wilmington Area High School teacher Olivia Ortz is accused of sexual assault, inadvertent contact with children, and unlawful use of a communications equipment. All of these offences are classified as felonies.
‘On a $150,000 bail she’s been released for now’
On April 18, the principal of the student’s high school, Wilmington Area, contacted the New Wilmington Police Department about their involvement in the Ortz inquiry.
Ortz’s husband, who just returned from a trip to Florida, reportedly found “proof that his wife Olivia had an improper interaction” with a 17-year-old girl, according to a news statement from the school district.
Police Chief Carmen Piccirillo tells people that the spouse of Ortz reportedly discovered the letter sent at Ortz from the school using an iPad.
According to Piccirillo, the students & teacher have worked together on theatrical shows in the school. “Clearly, she was disgusted. she was aware that he was underage because she is enough adult to understand the credibility of her profession.
However, investigators believe she eventually acknowledged to having sex with the instructor after originally denying it.
Initially, Olivia Ortz is a “Adult” who can be trusted and have a good professional background, according to a news statement from the school. However, this pious connection of teacher & student soon become amorous.
Claims have been made that student was invited to Ortz’s Sharon house on April 7 while Ortz’s spouse was on vacation. According to the press statement, the student told police that he remained the night in the residence and “engaged in sexual conduct.

Student also claimed that she messaged to Ortz when her husband learned about the alleged sexual encounter.
At the Ortz house, police also seized her cell phone and iPad on May 5th.
On Monday morning, Ortz surrendered to the authorities. May 25 has been established as the day for a preliminary hearing.
Till further judicial procedure Ortz’s attorney could not be contacted to discuss the issue.
