Ng Zhi Yong was a 23-year-old Malaysian man who was involved in a scary car accident last week. Born in 1999, the young man worked as an operator in a milk bottle factory in Singapore. He was reportedly the only child of his family.
Yong was working in Singapore and was scheduled to return to his home in Kota Masai, Malaysia on the day of his death. He met the accident just 5 minutes away from his house where his family was waiting for his arrival.

Ng Zhi Yong died in a freak motor vehicle accident on Thursday, December 8, 2022, while returning from work. He was on his way home while riding his motorcycle. Unfortunately, the young man met an accident just five minutes away from his home in Pasir Gudang.
The accident took place in the afternoon between 12 to 1 PM on Pasir Gudang Highway from Taman Johor Jaya heading toward Taman Megah Ria, Masai. According to the reports, Yong’s bike collided with a pick-up truck and he had to be dragged from under the truck.
Police and medical personnel rushed to the scene of the accident. The emergency responders had to use special tools to bring out the victim from under the vehicle.
Ng Zhi Yong Died at 23 in a Car Accident: What was the cause?
Ng Zhi Yong passed away after suffering fatal injuries in a car accident on December 8, 2022, on the Pasir Gudang Highway. According to a spokesperson of the Johor Fire and Rescue Department, the accident took place at around 12:49 PM.
The reports suggest that the victim, Yong, crashed with the pick-up truck at a high speed. The collision made him go beneath the vehicle and he had to be dragged from there. However, he was still conscious when the firefighters brought him out.
Yong was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he died at around 6 PM on the same day. The doctors tried really hard to transfuse blood and save his life but Ng Zhi Yong died due to excessive loss of blood and fatal injuries sustained in the crash.
The other person involved in the accident was the 40-year-old man from Bangladesh who was driving the pick-up truck. Fortunately, he was unharmed.
Ng Zhi Yong’s Friends Asking for Video Recording of the Incident
Ng Zhi Yong’s friends are shocked by the sad incident. They are asking for video recordings to figure out how did the accident happen and what was the cause of Ng Zhi Yong’s death. They seem to find suspicion in the police’s reports.
Ms. Chua, Ng’s best friend, had a word with the reporter about Yong’s passing. She revealed that Ng was still wearing the uniform of his company when he met the tragic accident.
Several other friends of Ng are paying respect to him on social media but also questioning that who is responsible for the tragedy.
Ng Zhi Yong’s Mother Called Her Son Before His Death
Ms. Chua also revealed that Ng Zhi Yong was still conscious when he was rescued. “Zhi Yong was still conscious when he was rescued. At that moment, his mother called him and asked him why he didn’t come home so late. Zhi Yong replied that he would go home after a while,” she said.
She went on to reveal that Ng’s mother had called him to know where he was just before the accident. He stated that he was on his way home. However, when she came to know about the accident, she called again and the call was received by a nurse.
The nurse told Ng’s mother that her son was already in a coma. Ng was the only member and supporter of her mother at home. His father passed away a few years ago.
