According to Police Chief Jacqueline Lutchcke- The bus was traveling north on South Van Dien Avenue when it went completely through a red light and was hit by a Mazda CX-9 and a Land Rover” at East Ridgewood Avenue, The investigation is still going on.

What are the consequences of the accident?

According to police, the bus was carrying a driver, two adult passengers, and an 11-year-old child. All four people were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.

The Land Rover’s driver and his 15-year-old daughter were also taken to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Mazda driver denied medical attention at the incident.
