This just can’t be. 😭 I loved her as a teacher.. ran into her recently, almost 20 years later and she still remembered my name and was so sweet. She will be missed and remembered fondly by so many. Prayers to the family.

I’ve struggled with what to write since yesterday, but there are never the right words. Our boys were incredibly blessed over the years with some amazing teachers. One of those that stood out was Nancy Brost. She never failed to tell us how much she loved them, and we loved her right back for all she did. They laughed with her and had a lot of fun, but also respected her and learned so much. The perfect learning environment. Our hearts are truly broken. We hope she knew how incredibly grateful the Dillon family is that she came into our lives. Hug your people, tell your teachers what a difference they make, and pray for those who loved Mrs. Brost.

We may never fully understand why Nancy Brost was taken from us so soon, but one thing that remains clear is the immense love and admiration that the community had for her. The world may have lost a brilliant educator, but her legacy lives on through the countless lives she influenced. To her family, friends, colleagues, and students, we offer our deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time.
