Who was Michael J. Cutt?
Michael J. Cutt was born in Toronto, Canada on April 13th, 1965. He is well-known for his role in the 1997 film Volcano starring alongside Tommy Lee Jones and Anne Heche where he played the character Dr. Ray Ramsey. Throughout his career he has acted in several projects including The Outer Limits, Millennium Park , Buffy the Vampire Slayer , Nash Bridges , The X-Files , The Practice , NYPD Blue , Charmed , Crossing Jordan , Six Feet Under , Criminal Minds and more recently a recurring role on NCIS: Los Angeles .
Cutt was also an advocate for helping people with disabilities gain access to better medical care and services which he publically spoke about through various interviews throughout his career. In 2018 he became an Ambassador for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation which raises money to help those living with spinal cord injuries or paralysis .

In August Caitlin Lemaire, Michael J. Cutt’s daughter announced that her father had been diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumor known as glioblastoma . Later that year it was reported that he had begun palliative chemotherapy and radiation treatments . Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to save him as he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 24th of this year at the age of 57 years old .
