Who Was Lyle Moore?
Lyle Moore was born June 5, 1946, in Hamilton, Canada. He was born to the late Kenneth Moore and Joan (nee Smith) Moore. His mother passed away in 1950, when he was just 4 years old. His father was the one who raised him, with the help of her stepmother Ruth Moore.
He did his schooling in his hometown and completed his graduation from Garfield High School. After became graduate, he registered himself in the United States Marine Corps and served as an infantryman in Vietnam with the 1st Battalion/9th Marine Division. After that, he dedicated his life as the Marine Corps in Vietnam.
In 1967, Lyle Moore tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Joann McKibben. He had two children, David Moore and Wendi Roush. He was a lovely husband and the best dad to his children. He was always devoted to his work and the community of Hamilton.
