The breakfast host recently joined WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, after finding herself comfort eating during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kelly revealed she would often find herself hovering around the biscuit tin and fridge for unhealthy snacks. However, since starting her weight loss journey, she feels happier and healthier.

“I was going through packets of biscuits and unhealthy grub. It started off quite small but ended up being huge.

“But since losing weight, I feel so much happier and healthier. It’s made such a difference.”

Kelly says her fitness journey has also inspired her to lead a more active lifestyle, and she now enjoys going on walks and bike rides.

Lorraine Kelly is a well-known Scottish television host and journalist. Born in 1959 in Glasgow’s Gorbals neighborhood, Kelly is best known for hosting the GMTV television program, Lorraine. In January 1993, Kelly helped launch GMTV and went on to present several shows, including the network’s primary morning show with Eamonn Holmes. 

After leaving GMTV in 2010, Kelly returned to hosting Lorraine in 2012. In addition to her work on television, Kelly has also written several books, including her autobiography, Close Up.
