Around 3 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, an argument between two aspiring rappers turned deadly. KD and Lamron Quan, who was affiliated with Lil Durk, reportedly shot and killed each other in Fargo, North Dakota

Fargo Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 1000 block of 15th St. N. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two men with gunshot wounds.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as Kierre “KD” Davies and Jaquan “Lamron Quan” Gatewood. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information is available at this time.

“I talked to him last night, just a couple of hours before everything happened,” KD’s childhood friend Saanjai Lobley said. “I’m just trying to figure out and we’re trying to figure out what’s going on, what happened.”

Cousin Doneisa Wilson added, “I broke down and I got on my knees and I prayed and I kept praying that it wasn’t him and I kept calling his phone and he wasn’t answering and it broke my heart.”

In the early hours of the morning, a neighbor was awoken by shouting and arguing coming from the apartment next door. The neighbor told police that he heard three gunshots during thefight, but he was unable to determine whether the altercation involved two men or a man and a woman.

In a press release, police stated that the two males involved in the shooting were acquainted with each other, but they provided no further details. Kierre “KD” Davis and Lamron Quan, a man associated with Lil Durk, were named as possible suspects. No arrests have been made at this time.
