Laiken May and One Other Died in a Car Accident in Lonoke County: Know What Happened

A tragic crash in Arkansas left two people dead after four vehicles were involved in a head-on collision. Laiken May, a real estate agent was among the deceased. Read on to know who was the person who died alongside Laiken May in the car accident, and how did the crash happen.

The police responded to reports of the crash in the afternoon on Thursday. Upon reaching there, they found a number of damaged vehicles alongside people severely injured. They were rushed to the nearby medical facility but two of them couldn’t survive.

Who was Laiken May?

Laiken May, 25, from El Paso, was a real estate agent who worked for The May Team Edge Realty. She lived in Beebe, Arkansas with her husband and kids. She was a mother, wife, and loving friend to many. Her sudden passing has left everyone depressed.

May went to Cabot High School and was a part of the Class of 2013. She also went to ASU Beebe after that. The intelligent lady then turned into a realtor with her great communication as well as convincing skills.

Laiken May Died in the Lonoke County Car Accident

Arkansas police reported that two people were killed in the Lonoke County Highway crash that occurred on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Laiken May was the person who died in the car accident as she lost control of her 2020 Ford Explorer.

A head-on collision took place between two vehicles and sent one of the vehicles ramming into two other vehicles. There were a total of four vehicles involved in the crash. Two people died in the freak accident that took place early in the day.

Fortunately, many others were saved and only received minor injuries. Both the people who died were driving their vehicles while the other two drivers weren’t hurt.

Who was the other person that died in the crash?

The other person killed in the Lonoke County multi-vehicle crash has been identified as Roland Wayne Hogan. He was driving a 2001 Jeep Laredo which collided head-on with Laiken May’s 2020 Ford Explorer.

Roland Wayne Hogan was a 65-year-old resident of Batesville, Arkansas. He was heading southbound at the time of the crash. More details about Hogan will be shared here later as our team is on the hunt for information at this time.

Lonoke County Arkansas High 5 Crash: How did it happen?

According to Arkansas State Police’s report, the multi-vehicle crash happened at around 2:15 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2022, on Highway 5 in Cabot in Lonoke County. The crash involved two vehicles colliding head-on.

Laiken Sloan May was northbound on Arkansas Highway 5 near North Heights when she lost control of the 2020 Ford Explorer she was driving. She then hit a guardrail on the east side of the roadway.

She corrected and crossed the center line and began driving north in the southbound lane. The front of her vehicle then struck the front of a 2001 Jeep Laredo driven by Roland Wayne Hogan. This head-on collision sent one of the vehicles careening into two other vehicles.

The drivers involved in the head-on collision were pronounced dead on the scene. The other people involved were rushed to the nearby medical facility for treatment. Rain-slicked roads are considered to be the cause of this tragic crash.
