Who was Kaleb Boateng?

Kaleb Boateng was a three-star composite candidate in the 2018 recruiting class and hailed from Fort Lauderdale High School. Standing 6-foot-4 and 293 pounds, Boating didn’t play as much as he could have during his time at Clemson. However, he signed with Arizona, Maryland or Atlantic Florida – all of which are top three colleges in their respective states. Ultimately the Florida native decided to go back to the Orange and Blues for his remaining years of college. With Dabo Swinney and the Tigers behind him, Boateng will now be able to make use of his talent in a more fitting environment.

Kaleb Boateng, a former Florida Gators football player, passed away on February 9. Unfortunately, the exact cause of death for Kaleb has yet to be revealed to the public. However, his family has announced that funeral services will take place later this week as they mourn the heartbreaking loss.

The University of Florida Football team also released a statement praising Kaleb for being “a fierce competitor who played with passion every game” as well as “a leader who inspired those around him with his tenacity for life and enthusiasm for football”. It goes without saying that he will be deeply missed by all those who knew him best.
