Who was Jeremy Ruehlemann?
Jeremy was born in Mahwah, New Jersey and attended Rowan University from 2013 to 2017 where he studied psychology. He left school in 2017 to pursue a successful modeling career. In 2017, Jeremy made the difficult decision to drop out of college and pursue a career in modeling. Many people admired him for taking such a bold step into the unknown. His dedication paid off as he quickly became one of the most sought-after models in the industry. He worked with some of the biggest names in fashion including Gucci, Prada, and Versace. He also appeared on magazine covers including Vogue, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle. Despite his success, Jeremy never forgot about his love for psychology and he often used his platform to spread mental health awareness.
Camp Counselor at OTC
In addition to his modeling career, Jeremy was an avid volunteer. In 2018, he became a camp counselor at Omega Teen Camp (OTC) where he worked tirelessly with children between ages 8-15 teaching them self-confidence and self-worth through outdoor activities like rock climbing and rope courses. His enthusiasm and dedication earned him the title of “Super Juicer” by former head counselor Emmanuel Williams who fondly remembers him as “the best juice maker I ever saw!” We are sure this passion will live on through those who were fortunate enough to meet him during his short but impactful life here on Earth.

It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of the prominent fashion model and camp counselor, Jeremy Ruehlemann. His commitment to helping children from diverse backgrounds achieve their dreams was unmatched. However, there has been no reported cause of death for this beloved figure.
What was perhaps most admirable about Jeremy was his eagerness to learn and train for whatever position he found himself in. To honor Jeremy’s legacy, let us all strive to embody his dedication and selflessness towards others today. Sadly though, for now at least, the cause of Jeremy Ruehlemann’s death remains unknown.

Ruehlemann, Jeremy I’ve been trying to gather my thoughts and figure out what to say all day. We met when we were 15 and 17, respectively. We bonded over the fact that our parents couldn’t handle us as troubled teenagers and sent us both to OTC for four weeks! We were instantly inseparable and bonded over our mutual love of music, sports, fashion, tattoos, and so on. Basically, I’m saying what Gianni likes Jerm and what Jerm likes Gianni. We grew up together for the next two summers and would have called each other for anything. You’ve seen me emotionally at my lowest and highest points, and I can’t thank you enough for your friendship and love.❤️😭
