Jacob Brown Central Catholic Student Dies in Crash

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Central Catholic High School student Jacob Brown. Jacob, a sophomore, died in a car crash on Sunday night. The events scheduled for this week have been canceled, and the soccer game has been rescheduled.

The student who died in the crash has been identified as Junior Jacob Brown. He was 16 years old. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but authorities believe that speed was a factor.

Jacob was a beloved member of the Central Catholic community. He was a talented soccer player and was looking forward to playing in the homecoming game. His teammates and friends are devastated by his loss.

Central Catholic Principal Charles Huff released the following statement: “The entire Panther family is mourning the loss of one of our own. Matthew was a kind and gentle young man who will be deeply missed.”
