Robert Cormier, the beloved Canadian actor, died on Friday, September 23, 2022. His sister Stephanie Cormier announced the tragic news of his unexpected and sudden passing. The actor died of injuries suffered in a fall.

Ever since the news of Cormier’s death emerged, fans are mourning the loss the actor who had a brief but remarkable career in the industry. Up TV, the network which airs Heartland, led the tributes for Cormier.

They posted a photo of Robert with Amber Mitchell with the following captio on Instagram:

“Robert Cormier, aka Heartland’s Finn, was an amazing talent, gone too soon. We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Our sincere condolences go out to his friends, family and co-workers.”

Robert Cormier dead at 33: Cause of Death and Funeral Details

Robert Cormier died at a very young age of 33. He didn’t suffer from any prior illnesses or issues that became the cause of his demise. He passed away as a result of the injuries succumbed in a fall.

However, there are several reports available on the web claiming that Robert Cormier died of VDS (Vaccine-Induced Death Syndrome). There are no credible sources mentioned with the reports though.

Robert Cormier had a Short but Exciting Acting Career

Robert Cormier was born on June 14, 1989, in Toronto, Ontario to Lisa and Rob Cormier. He was the first actor to come out of his family. He studied economics at York University, and later graduated from the Toronto Academy of Acting for Film & Television in 2014.

Before his debut, Cormier also worked as a bartender to make the ends meet. Two-years after his graduation, he got to do a guest spot on ABC’s Designated Survivor starring Kiefer Sutherland. He went on to work in The Intersection (2019), Pyrenees (2018), Designated Survivor (2017), and Ransom (2019).

His most notable role came in Heartland where he played Finn Cotter. Cormier’s most recent appearance came in Netflix’s Slasher Solstice (2019). His supporting role of Shane in Firecracker was another highlight of his career.

Cormier said his favorite actor as Jean-Claude Van Damme. “I told my dad, ‘Daddy, call me Robbie Van Damme,” he once revealed.

Robert Cormier is survived by his parents Robert and Lisa, sisters Brittany, Krystal, and Stephanie, and grandmother Joanne.
