The news of the sudden and unexpected death of beloved Patrick Baker on December 16, 2022 sent shockwaves around Christopher Columbus High School as well as among his family and friends.The cause of death is not known yet. His role within the Marist Brothers was an integral one that cannot be understated. Members of the Administration, including President Kruczek, Principal Pugh showed their special regret at his passing. It has been a very painful time for his family and dear ones who were able to gather strength from amongst those who loved him most to say their final fond goodbyes. However, although nothing can replace the hole left by Patrick Baker’s untimely death, he will be as deeply remembered for his kind-heartedness just as much as for all he did for the school community.
