Born in 2003, Luke Pruitt was a resident of Claremont, California. He was a sophomore batch student at Cirus College in Glendora. Pruitt was the captain of Citrus College’s football team.

Luke Pruitt dead in a Motorcycle Crash: How did it happen?
Luke Pruitt, 19, died in a terrible motorcycle crash that took place on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the intersection of Mauna Loa Avenue and Grand Avenue around 11:22 AM. The police and EMS workers arrived at the site of the crash.
Upon reaching there, the first responders declared Pruitt dead on the scene. His body was sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause of his death.
According to the report, Pruitt was riding a motorcycle along Grand Avenu when an SUV driver made a U-turn at the intersection. The two vehicles then collided and Pruitt was thrown off the bike and was killed at the scene.
The SUV driver was uninjured in the crash. His identity has been kept private by the police.

A second Tweet from the college states:

Police Investigating the Crash that Killed Luke Pruitt; No Charges Yet
Glendora police are currently investigating the crash that killed Citrus College’s student Luke Pruitt. A crime scene has been established and Pruitt’s body has been referred to the coroner.
However, no charges have been filed yet. Pruitt’s accident is yet another incident of a young life lost in a terrible manner. The number of crashes in California has increased rapidly recently with a total of 3,904 people killed in 3,582 accidents.
The police are still trying to figure out the cause of Luke Pruitt’s accident.
