The duo released three albums together before going on their separate ways in 1960. After that, Lucy briefly left the world of entertainment and pursued a career in nursing. However, she returned to music later and released solo albums in 1975 and 1977.

Lucy Simon also won Grammys in 1981 and 1982 with her husband, David Levine, for their contributions to two “Sesame Street” albums. She also got the Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations for her music for the Broadway musical The Secret Garden.
