Loden eventually pleaded guilty to murder as well as four counts of s*xual battery against Leesa and was sentenced to death by lethal injection on December 14th 2022 – almost exactly twenty two years after his heinous crime took place.
According to court records, Loden was later discovered lying by the side of a road with the words “I’m sorry” carved into his chest and wrist cuts.
