How Did Clif White Midlothian High School Football Coach Die?

Clif White, the famous football coach at Midlothian High School has died on Saturday. He was only 37 years old when he was died. The news of his death has saddened his family, students and entire Midlothian high school. In this article, we will share more about Clif White’s background and his cause of death. 

Who is Clif White?

At Midlothian High School in Ellis County, Texas, Clif White was serving as the football team’s head coach. He had successfully represented the Midlothian high school and served as an inspiration for the entire community as well as a great teacher to the athletes, students. 

Along with coaching his freshmen football team, Clif White also served as an assistant coach for the varsity team.

How did Clif die?

All of the professors, community members, and students gathered on Sunday evening to celebrate their coach’s birthday, but it was a sad day for Midlothian High School as he passed away in his sleep after a prolonged fight with cancer. Clif was only 37 years old at time of his death.

He was diagnosed with a rare form of bladder cancer in May 2022 and had already undergone a number of surgeries and chemotherapy treatments for it. In order to treat his stage 4 level cancer, also known as Urachal cancer, a diagnosis was given for him. However, the cancer has progressed to his lymph nodes, liver, and lungs.

Tribute to Clif White

In recognition of the fact that the Midlothian team was scheduled to play their forthcoming game of the season and remember their coach at the same time, the mayor declared Friday to be “Clif White Day” in honor of the coach.

Even though he was battling cancer, Clif’s participation as a football coach to the team was greatly valued because of his dedication to work and passion for students. The Midlothian faculty helped Cliff by paying for his medical expenses as a gesture of charity. Even though Clif had cancer, he came to the event location to encourage the team with a motorized wheelchair and oxygen. He was blessed with the two children and kind wife also.

Doug Wendel, the head football coach of the Midlothian team and a close friend, conveyed his heartfelt condolences to him by mentioning that he had worked for the institute for more than 12 years with dedication and affection, so it can’t be easy for him to abandon the team going forward. In addition, he said that his soul would roam the football field and campus.

After hearing the Clif White’s death all his students extended their condolences to his family and paid tribute to him in social media. We pray that at this time, God would provide the bless to the entire family.
