Harrison Jameson is the young man who has been identified as the victim who died after a single vehicle road accident in a silver Ford Focus on the Dublin Road, at Cloghoge, on Tuesday evening, October 18. The 23-year-old hailed from the Cavan area.
Briefing about the road crash incident, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said, “An investigation is now underway and further information about the car crash incident will be shared very soon.”

Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) Sergeant Neil Harrison said in an official statement, “Police received a report shortly after 11am on Wednesday, October 19th, of a single vehicle road traffic collision.
“We believe at this time that the silver Ford Focus that Mr. Jameson was driving came off the road sometime between 9.30 and 11:00 pm the previous evening, which was Tuesday, October 18.” An investigation into the circumstances of the collision has been launched, and we recapitulate our appeal for information.
The PSNI Sergeant requested anyone with any sort of information about the crash to come forward and help police in the investigation. He said, “We appeal to anyone who was travelling in the Dublin Road/A1 area at around the collision time, or may have witnessed/captured the collision on their dash-cam to inform police officers in the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, with reference 546, 19/10/22.”
The Dublin Road, which is the crime scene in the incident, was closed for a period of time on Wednesday, October 19, but was later reopened for traffic.
