Greg was known for his musical talent, and he had a beautiful voice. He is survived by his siblings, Kathy Gilley, Keith Ray Gilley, Michael Gilley.
His father Mickey Leroy Gilley preceded him in death. Greg Gilley lived in Pasadena, Texas and attended Galena Park High School. Galena Park High School is a secondary school located in Galena Park, Texas, United States and is one of three secondary schools in the Galena Park Independent School District. GPHS provides services to a number of communities, including the city of Galena Park, the section of Jacinto City that lies south of Market Street, parts of Houston, and parts of unincorporated Harris County. Gregory will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

I’ve just been having an extremely hard time dealing since finding out earlier this morning. I just got some sad news from Lisa Lemon that our close friends Greg Gilley has passed away 😔. It has only been six months that his dad Mickey Gilley had passed away of whom we had much conversations about . When I moved to Houston in the early 90’s Greg was one of the first musicians i met at the Back Stage Rock club . He was alway a cool cat and easy going Redneck even tho he played Rock and Metal. I’m going to miss you my friend. Rest easy Rock Star 🤘😞🤘🇺🇲
