George Jacob Jung was born on August 6th, 1942, in Boston Massachusetts. He was raised in Weymouth, and he attended Weymouth High School. Although he was a star football player in high school, he struggled academically.

In 1961, After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Southern Mississippi, but never finished his studies. This was due largely to his involvement in drug trafficking.

George became heavily involved in the marijuana trade, and eventually became one of the top smugglers in the country. He was even able to finance his own marijuana habit through his illegal activities.

However, George’s life as a drug smuggler eventually caught up with him. He was arrested in 1974 and sentenced to prison.

While incarcerated, he met Carlos Lehder Rivas, a fellow drug trafficker who would have a major impact on Jung’s life.

Lehder Rivas convinced George to help him start a new smuggling operation, and together they created a powerful cartel that dominated the cocaine trade in the United States.
