Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Release Date: Finally, after months of waiting, Fortnite season 3 is here! And it’s everything we hoped for. The new map is incredible, with so much to explore. The addition of vehicles adds a whole new dimension to the game. And the new cosmetics are amazing! We can’t wait to get our hands on them all. But that’s not all that’s new in season 3. There are also tons of new challenges to complete, and of course the battle pass itself is packed with goodies. So what are you waiting for? Fortnite hasn’t had an important live-event for a while. But, all that’s that change with the big mecha showdown event Collision.
The Seven and the Imagined Order have been arguing for some time, and now we are about to witness the two factions collide.
Although we don’t know much about the fight or the role of players, it involves huge mecha bears. This isn’t the first time in Chapter 1 of Season 9 seen the Mecha Team Leader’s to fight the monster in an epic live-event. It was one of the greatest events in Fortnite history. The showdown left major map changes, including the removal of the monster’s bones, in some of the best maps in Fortnite history.
The Mecha Team Leader was not destroyed but damaged and is now back in action for what appears to be a Voltron-style fight. Each of the four skins shown in the trailer are a different color and could indicate that players will team up to play in four-player mechs. The Mecha Weapons Team skins can be purchased from the Item Shop too.

When does the Collision Live Event begin?
The live-event starts at 4pm ET/ 1pm PST 8pm UTC today, 6/4/03. It will likely last for a few minutes and have some special game mode preceding or following it.
You should visit the Collision lobby as soon as you can. It is best to arrive at least 30 minutes before the event begins. You might also consider a post-event mode before the servers are shut down for Season 3.
When does Season 3 begin?
Between the end of Season 2 & the start of Season 3, there will be a brief downtime. We don’t know when the new season will start, but it will be live on June 5, probably as soon as servers are back online.
