Food War Season anime series has been popular over the years and has released many mind-blowing series in line having a IMDB rating of 8.1/10 and according to MyAnimeList assessment of 8.19/10.
Shokugeki no Soma Fans are eagerly waiting for next season to see a new Food War Season 6, but it doesn’t appear that the animated series will returning anytime soon.
After immediately following the conclusion of Season 4, Season 5 of Food Wars received a renewal announcement. However, the Shokugeki No Soma the Fifth Plate Season 5 seems wad the last series in line, because the way series ended left a heartful emotional ending note for audience.
Although Shokugeki no Soma Fans shouldn’t be discouraged, because there are several ways for this popular series to comeback via featuring through OVAs, prequel series, and even a film.
There are already five OVA episodes. Two episodes were released in 2016, two in 2017, and the last episode was released in 2018.
We haven’t heard any confirmations on new OVAs or film projects for the cult series as of yet, but who knows?

Food Battles! Shokugeki no Soma is based on Yuto Tsukuda’s manga, which was illustrated by Shun Saeki.
The show presents Soma Yukihira, a boy who aspires to be an all-time chef in his father’s family restaurant. Soma aspires to emulate his father’s culinary prowess.
He is a student at Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute which is a prestigious culinary school where students engage in cooking competitions.
Throughout the series, we’ve seen Soma hone his skills and make his mark in the culinary world.
