Don Creasy was a former Colbert County football player and coach. He played under legendary coach C.T. Manley and was an all-state performer. He also played for North Alabama (then Florence State), and was a three-time letterman.

Creasy was named the most valuable lineman in 1964 and completed his career with a 186-76-2 record in 23 seasons. After that, he started his head coaching career at Central-Florence and then took over for Manley at Colbert County.

He remained in the position for 12 years before coaching for two years at Coffee. Creasy coached two state championship teams at Colbert County in 1979 and 1985. He ended his coaching career with four seasons at Mountain Brook.

Creasy also coached in two state all-star games and one Alabama-Mississippi all-star game. He was named the Alabama High School Coach of the Year in 1972 and 1985. Don Creasy got inducted into the AHSAA Hall of Fame in 1998.
