Who was Daniel Lewis?
Daniel was a vibrant young man who was passionate about his family and friends, sports, music and travel. He enjoyed spending time with his friends playing soccer and exploring the outdoors. He loved to play guitar and had recently started learning how to play the ukulele. Most importantly, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and spread joy wherever he went.

Bloggers, friends and family are mourning the loss of Daniel Lewis, who will be “forever missed” after he was killed in a rollover near the Wheatbelt town of Corrigin on New Year’s Day. Few expected this tragedy to occur, especially on such an important day. As the sun rose at 5:50am that morning, nobody could prepare for what would happen next. At 6:30am, 21-year-old Daniel lost control of his vehicle and rolled multiple times; leaving him without a chance to make it out alive. The local police have since shared their condolences with his loved ones as they investigate the crash site. The Corrigin community is standing together at this difficult time, hoping to bring comfort to those affected by the tragedy of Daniel’s untimely passing.
The Accident Investigation:
WA’s Major Crash Squad is currently investigating the accident that claimed Daniel’s life. They have called for anyone with any knowledge or information about the accident to come forward and contact them directly. Police are also appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious or unusual in relation to the accident or may have dashcam vision of it to contact them as well. All information provided will be treated confidentially.
Community Support & Fundraising Efforts:
In response to this tragedy, a GoFundMe page has been set up by Daniel’s family in order to raise money for his memorial service expenses. The page has already raised over $7000 from generous donations by community members who want to show their support for the Lewis family during this difficult time. In addition, many local businesses have donated items such as flowers and food for the memorial service so that Daniel can be honored properly by his friends and family.
