Couple from Indiana missing in Nevada desert

COUNTY OF ESMERALDA, NEVADA — A couple from Indianapolis has been missing for almost a week, with their last known location in the Nevada desert.

Ronnie and Beverly Barker were believed to have left Albany, Oregon, for Tuscon, Arizona, on March 26, according to the Esmeralda County Sheriff’s Department. The couple vanished somewhere along a bleak stretch of Nevada desert, with authorities reporting that their last cellphone ping was on March 27 in the region of Coaldale, a ghost town in Esmeralda County.

Indiana couple goes missing in Nevada

Ronnie, 72, and Beverly, 69, were driving an Indiana license plate C128H on a white 2015 Sunseeker RV with black decals. They were towing a white 2020 Kia Soul with Indiana license plate FL211A, according to police.

Both of the Barkers, according to police, have known medical problems.
