The pretty family met a freak accident on December 16th when their vehicle got T-Boned by a pickup truck allegedly driven by a driver under an influence. The investigation is going on and the charges will be sent soon.

Who was Caroline Patten?

Caroline Patten was a 20-year-old woman from Phoenix, Arizona. She was the fiancé of Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb’s son Cooper Lamb and the mother of their daughter Elaine. The young lady was admitted to the hospital after sustaining critical injuries in a car crash last week.

She was driving her Toyota Corolla on December 16, 2022, when it collided with a Pickup Truck while she was trying to turn left. Her fiancé Cooper Lamb and daughter Elaine died on the spot while Caroline was rushed to the hospital.

How did Caroline Patten die?

Caroline Patten died in the hospital on Friday, December 23, 2022. She passed away late at night at the age of 20 due to the life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash last week. The tragic news of her death was announced by Pinal County Sherrif Mark Lamb on Christmas Eve.

“Thank you everybody for the amazing support, the love, and the prayers! We feel so blessed as a family! Please keep Caroline’s family in your prayers as Caroline passed last night and is in Heaven with Cooper and our sweet Elaine,” Mark wrote in an emotional Facebook post.

Previously, Mark was posting regular updates on Caroline’s condition who was getting treatment at the hospital. Unfortunately, she couldn’t make it and is in a better place now.

Car Crash Killed Caroline Patten, Cooper Lamb, and Elaine

One happy family consisting of Caroline Patten, 20, Cooper Lamb, 22, and Elaine, 1, is no more in this world due to a tragic car crash that happened in Gilbert, Arizona, on December 16, 2022, at around 3:45 PM.

Caroline was driving her Toyota Corolla near the intersection of Elliot Road and Cole Drive when her vehicle collided with a Pickup Truck coming from the opposite direction at a very high speed while she was trying to turn left.

The crash left Cooper Lamb and Elaine dead on the spot while Caroline was rushed to the hospital via ambulance in critical condition. She died at the hospital this Friday.

Brian Torres, 21, was Driving the Other Vehicle

The other vehicle involved in the crash that killed Caroline Patten, Cooper Lamb, and Elaine was driven by 21-year-old Brian Torres. He didn’t suffer injuries in the accident and was arrested at the scene on suspicion of DUI.

Police have also confirmed that he was going the speed limit at the time of the crash. The investigation is going on. A lab analysis of Torres’ blood alcohol concentration is pending at this time.
