Who was bobby Driessen

Bobby Driessen was born John Driessen on April 26, 1966 in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. He is best known for his role on Young Talent Time and Neighbours respectively.Bobby Driessen’s direction of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” on Young Talent Time set it apart due to its increased production standards, which was a rarity for the show. Cause of its budgetary constraints, Johnny Young often had to acquire sets from Neighbours and other Network Ten shows for the variety series. The team created spectacular costumes even under their minimalistic designs, thus making it a remarkable performance.

The Kids on the Block was a beloved variety show that featured performers of all ages. When team members turned 16, they had to leave the show and that reality was met with sadness from fans. Bobby and Tina Arena were two such performers who had to depart from the show due to age restrictions, but not before giving an unforgettable performance of “You’re The One That I Want” from Grease in their final episode. While their departure caused grief for many, their impact continued through other younger stars like Mark McCormack (1981–85), Michael Campbell (1981–83), Jodie Loebert (1980–83), Joey Perrone (1980–84), Karen Dunkerton (1981–85), Dannii Minogue (1982–88) and Karen Dunkerton (1982–83). All these performers presented different songs that resonated with people of all ages, thereby showing the power of diversity in a wonderful way.
