Andrew “Andy” Trowbridge was born in Anoka, Minnesota. He graduated from Anoka High School in 2004 and went on to get his degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota. He was hired by KARE11 as a sports producer in 2012 and quickly gained recognition for his passion for sports journalism and dedication to his job.
Andy was known as an enthusiastic producer with a great sense of humor who could always be counted on for producing quality content no matter what the situation. He cared deeply about his work, but he also had an easy-going personality that made him easy to work with and easy to get along with. In addition, he had an unbridled enthusiasm for sports which carried over into all aspects of his day-to-day life at KARE 11 news.
